Single. Hell raiser and heartbreaker.
Just kidding... I've never been married and have no children. I was engaged
to someone and with him for 8 years. 2000-2008. We
broke up and then lived together for an additional year. I
took some time for myself and then after a while I started dating
again.
I felt bad for my ex so I wrote an ad for him online
and found him a girlfriend. They've been
together for almost a year now.
I'm always matchmaking. I always have.
When I was ready to date again I had a hard time
meeting people. I worked from home (so no
co-workers), I didn't have children (so no meeting
other parents), and my friends and family were all
in MI. I decided to check out online dating.
I met someone very cool right away, but he ended up
playing head games. Then after a series of
terrible dates, I needed a break. I grounded
myself from dating for three months. At the
end of the three months I was dating again, but this
time with a great sense of humor about it. The
bad dates ended up being funny. My girlfriends
would call and ask me, "Tell me you had a date last
night, I need a laugh." So, to help my sanity
along I started writing dating articles. So
good dates were great and bad dates were even
better.
I met someone very nice and dated until I moved from
CT back home to the Detroit area. Now I am
back to dating again. So... ladies, send your
single men my way and single men applications being
accepted now! LOL
I was recently dating someone who I liked a lot, but
that ended abruptly and I am licking my wounds.
My Dating Profile When I Was Dating:
I'm just me, a little goofy, a lot genuine, with a
side of creative. I like to learn new things and am
constantly trying to better myself. I'm street
smart, book smart and a complete smart a$$.
I just moved to Canton, MI after 7 years in New
England and several in CA.
I'm looking for
friends in the area. I like motivated, creative, fun
people. Let's go to the DIA or play wollyball or
paintball. Let's get a group together for dodge ball
or kickball. I love the water, boating, swimming,
snorkeling, you name it. I want to learn to scuba
dive. Are you the kind of guy who is willing to
become friends if there are no sparks?
Eventually I want to find someone to enjoy life
with, walks, friends, cookouts, traveling, giving
back to the community, raising kids, working hard
and having a really good time doing it.
I've
lost a lot of weight and I am working very hard at
getting in shape. I'm looking for someone active,
athletic/fit (lean and mean or actively working on
it- not meaning to get around to that) and into
sports. I've had enough of lazy people and couch
potatoes and letting life slip by. I feel like I
have this amazing new look on life with infinite
possibilities and I want someone who is ready to
really live life and try everything with me: Zip
lines, sky diving, scrabble in the park, bike rides,
book clubs, apple orchard, Renaissance fair,
horseback riding, drinks and an Austin Powers
marathon, rock wall climbing, lazer tag, bon fires,
home made pizza and cards, poker night... I'm up for
almost anything.
I'm always open to new
friends, say hi.
