Let’s face it, it’s difficult to come up with gifts for senior citizens. My Grandma has everything already or when she doesn’t she goes and gets it herself. I’m tired of just getting her junk to fill her house. So these are the best gift to buy for seniors…

A Netflicks subscription. They don’t have to go to the video store or return DVD’s, they only have to open their mail and put something back in their mail. The subscription rates are as low as $3.99 a month, but I recommend the $12.99 a month package which includes unlimited rentals with 2 DVD’s at a time. The reason I choose Netflicks over Blockbuster is because Netflicks offers online movies with your package. We gave Grandma a card with a certificate we made saying she was getting 6 months of Netflicks. She gets her movies and because she doesn’t go online, we enjoy the online movies!

Cash. At their age it’s harder to come by extra income. My fiancé’s Nana was telling us how she is always going through one dollar bills. It’s $2 for the bus ride, and it’s $2 for meals at the senior center, so she is always going through ones. My fiancé’s aunt gave Nana $50 in one dollar bills and she was so pleased!
