I'm sure you have seen someone's FaceBook status with the cute little hearts, music notes, smiley faces, and diamonds.  Here is how you can add these symbols and emoticons on your FaceBook status.

You simply press the ALT button and a number.  Some computers such as laptops need to have the num lock on and use the side numbers not the top ones.  For those of you without the side keys you may have use the “Fn” key to access the number pad in the middle of my keyboard that share keys with letters. For example, some may have a light colored #1 on the "J” key.  Press Fn+Alt+1 (the 1 on the J key not the 1 that shares a key with the exclamation point) and you will get this: ☺

You can also just come to this page and copy and paste the symbol you'd like to put on your facebook wall.
