A sweet craft & gift for the man in your life.

nullI wanted to do something fun and sweet for my fiancé as a gift. I bought him a dozen neckties (I hit TJ Maxx or JCpenney’s clearance rack and I can get them for about $7.00 each). I rolled them one at a time into little rolls, like men do when packing them. I put a rubber band around each one to hold the roll. Then I took a cheap wooden skewer and slid it into the middle. You can use floral tape on the wooden stick to make it look more like a stem on a flower. I took green tissue gift paper and wrapped it around the stems and put them in a vase.

Only about 5 fit into the vase though. So, now it looks like roses! He got flowers without the girly smelly stuff and he loves new ties like a woman loves new shoes. It’s really a cute presentation for a useful gift.
